How It Started
A Hat Changed Everything
My journey began watching my grandfather, a distinguished train station master. Every morning, he'd step out of bed, adjust his impeccable dress hat with precision, and transform. Not just his appearance—his presence. From my beloved Papou into a figure of authority and respect.
That daily ritual taught me something: a well-crafted hat doesn't just complete an outfit. It transforms how the world sees you. And how you see yourself.
After years in finance—spreadsheets, projections, a comfortable life that felt hollow—I realized I was missing something essential. In 2014, I made a choice many would call risky: I'd pursue what actually moved me.
I chose hats.
Not fashion. Not luxury branding. But the craft of making hats that fit real people. Hats that solve a problem the industry had given up on.
My partner Agnes believed in this when it made no sense on paper. She supported me when I cashed in savings, rented a small workshop in Athens, and started learning from master craftsmen—men and women who knew techniques most of the world had forgotten.
I collected vintage wooden blocks. Experimented endlessly. Made mistakes. Learned from every failure.
Together, we decided: We'd make the hat your grandfather would have worn. The hat you've been searching for. The hat that actually fits.
That's what we do now. Every single day.
And we still make them the same way. By hand. In Athens. With care.
From One Workshop to 50+ Countries
2014-2016: We Listened
Started with basic equipment and 47 handcrafted hats in year one. Each customer taught us something: perfection doesn't come from luxury. It comes from listening.
Turns out, most hat problems aren't design problems. They're listening problems.
2017-2019: We Got Serious
Collected 25 wooden hat blocks (each in 11 head sizes). Grew from a cramped 85 m² workshop to 250 m² so we could keep up. Monthly capacity went from dozens to 120 hats—without cutting corners.
Not growing fast. Getting better.
2020-2022: We Made a Choice
We noticed something: people with unusual head sizes had nowhere to go. The industry ignored them. We made them our priority.
Half-sizes. Custom increments. Transparent pricing with zero hidden fees. Because if we say "any size," we mean it.
We weren't trying to be different. We were trying to be useful.

The Workshop

Where Every Hat Gets Our Full Attention
Our Athens workshop houses over 25 wooden hat blocks—more than most custom hatmakers globally. Each block is available in 11 different head sizes. When a customer needs a shape we don't have, we 3D-print custom blocks. (We added this capability late 2024 after a decade of requests.)

Everything is shaped and finished by hand
✓ Steam-shaped over wooden blocks (traditional blocking technique)
✓ Leather sweatbands that age beautifully with wear, softening and forming to your head
✓ Traditional flanging and edge finishing (techniques from the 1950s)
✓ Hand-trimmed brim edges for precision snap/curl
✓ Final shaping and quality inspection by Panos himself
No machines. No shortcuts. Just craft.

Each hat takes 14–21 days. We don't rush.
We're intentionally small: up to 250 hats monthly. Big enough to serve you. Small enough to care.
Quality has limits. We won't exceed our capacity. We won't compromise. If the queue is full, we say no. Busy is fine. Rushed is not.
What We Believe
To keep real hatmaking alive for people who don’t fit mass production—preserving classic styles while pushing what’s possible in comfort, fit, and customization.
