I have bought 5 hats in total from this company; it is difficult to say what is my favourite, I assume it depends on the time of the day, my mood etc etc
This one is from the 16 hats I have in total (the number is after my spring-cleaning exercise...) currently in the top 3, the shape the colour the ribbon, this one has it all
The greatest benefit from this retainer is the weight and it has been made in the exact size of your hat.
The fact that the retainer is so light helps also to retain the shape of the crown. I would suggest to anyone who buys on of the hats from this company to include the size retainer
I ordered this one in purple, only walked with-it one day around in town, and had already 2 guys coming up who love the hat, one was not sure about the colour...
One suggestion to buyers of this hat or Homburg hats, because of the high crown, fill the box with enough paper, so the crown is not resting on the bottom of the box, this type of hats, I place the storage box upside down {lid on the bottom) to be sure. I also bought the Fedora Nexus, that type fill the sides of the box with loose soft paper, to keep the crown as high as possible, but keep the box upright, lid on the top

A leather sweat band is essential to support the strength and integrity of the hat through years of wear.
Many producers opting for cheap paper and cloth.

It’s been only two days since my hat arrived. I’ts being worn everywhere, and complimented often. The wider than normal, soft sweatband was a pleasant surprise. Great communication from the maker and fast to ship. I couldn’t be more pleased.
I received my new hat on Thursday 9th April (having placed the order on Tuesday 24th February) and it is quite simply spectacular!
I was unfortunately blessed??? with a very large head so getting an "off the shelf" number was, for me, not an option (and believe me, I tried very hard!) However, this was before I discovered these guys online (having been directed to them by an AI search engine actually) and I am extremely grateful I did! From the opening Whats App exchanges which were very helpful and informative through to ordering, the service was terrific (and very reassuring when one is investing in a bespoke, very high quality item such as this!) And when it finally arrived and I took it out and tried it on.................I think "WOW" was the first word I said! And I believe my wife said something very similar! (she later confessed that she was very nervous about it arriving because she didn't think it was possible to get a classic "Sinatra style" hat that not only suited me, but actually looked amazing! - because of my comedy over sized head! Haha!) But she (and I - because if I'm honest, I had similar misgivings!) was wrong! And we are delighted to be so!
One thing I should probably mention is, if there is a slightly slower delivery time than the estimate given when ordering (as there was with mine - I believe the estimate I was given for completion was 24th March?) Don't Panic!! Because producing hand crafted items of this quality takes time! Trust me! It will be worth waiting for! And don't expect responses to messages inquiring as to the progress of your hat - because you probably won't get one! I still have several unread Whats App messages to them and one unanswered email but at the end of the day, if they're busy producing this kind of incredible quality, well, that probably trumps you getting worried about the progress of your new hat! Haha! Having said that, once my hat left the workshop, the email communication about delivery etc was excellent
So, in conclusion, if you're at all nervous about ordering from these guys, don't be! They are geniuses! If they can make me look great in a hat, then trust me, they can definitely make you look fantastic!

A nice hat. Unfortunately a bit small. I assume that the thickness of the lining and sweatband were not taken into account for the measurement.

Disappointing -to say the least- « fur » quality. Hat looks good on picture, but is not a wearable hat in reality, unless for carnival
