Fit is good and they built it to my specs, but don't wear it outside if there's any humidity or rain or snow. The brim wilts. Also, maybe a bit expensive for a wool felt hat. So...caveat emptor.
This is an amazing hat and very well made! I was looking for a hat to replace my everyday Akubra that had been shrunk my a hat store trying to clean it. This hat fit a slight bit snug, but my trusty hat expander did the trick. I love the color and style as it compliments my Seneca Indian beaded hat band so well.

There are many $100 hats out there. My advice is to not waste your time and money. Instead, get a beautiful, stunning, professionally made hat for double the price from a real hat maker. It is more than worth the extra $$. Sizing is perfect, custom alterations are part of the service, colours are true, and the final result is perfection! I'm excited to pick out my next one!!

However was very disappointed when I read the instructions on the hat box regarding taking care of the hat. ‘’ Avoid wearing your hat in the rain ‘’ There was no mention of this in the description before I ordered it and there should have been, I wanted to wear it tonight to go to a restaurant but am unable to so because it is raining. Enkele Dingen Die Het Waard Zijn Om Te Weten
Waarom duurt de bezorging enkele weken?
Omdat er niets van een plank wordt gepakt. Elke hoed wordt op bestelling gemaakt, met de hand gevormd en afgewerkt speciaal voor één persoon: jou. Dit is ambachtelijk werk, geen levering op dezelfde dag.
Wat als het niet past?
Dan is het verhaal nog niet af. We werken samen met jou om aan te passen, opnieuw te maken of te verfijnen totdat het klopt. Het doel is niet “afgeleverd” — het is “dit voelt alsof het altijd al van mij was.”
Kun je de specificaties aanpassen?
Ja. Kroonhoogte, randbreedte, kleur, versiering, voering — beschouw ze als vertrekpunten, niet als grenzen. Als u het kunt beschrijven of een foto kunt laten zien, kunnen we bespreken hoe we het werkelijkheid maken.
Hoe verschilt dit van een luxe merk hoed?
U koopt geen logo of reclamecampagne. U koopt tijd, handen en aandacht. Vergelijkbare materialen van hoge kwaliteit, maar gevormd naar uw hoofd, uw smaak, uw verhaal — niet naar een standaard maattabel.
Moet ik extra invoerrechten of onverwachte kosten betalen?
Niemand houdt van onverwachte wendingen bij het afrekenen. Wanneer invoerrechten vooraf zijn betaald, is de prijs die je ziet ook de prijs die je betaalt, zodat je hoed zonder onverwachte rekeningen bij je thuis aankomt.
Houdt u mijn maat in het bestand?
Ja. Zodra uw maat en vorm goed zijn vastgesteld, zijn toekomstige bestellingen eenvoudig. Veel klanten komen terug voor dezelfde pasvorm in nieuwe kleuren, randen of stijlen.
Wat is uw retour- of garantiebeleid?
Maatwerkstukken werken niet zoals massaproducten bij terugzendingen, maar dat betekent niet dat je vastzit. Als er iets niet goed is, passen we het aan, repareren het of maken het opnieuw. De belofte is eenvoudig: je blijft niet zitten met een hoed die je niet wilt dragen.
Kunt u een ouderwetse of niet meer verkrijgbare stijl namaken?
Daar wordt het pas echt leuk. Oude filmbeelden, familiefoto’s, een hoed die je ooit zag en nooit bent vergeten — stuur de verwijzing, en wij onderzoeken hoe dicht we het voor je tot leven kunnen brengen.
Wat als ik niet zeker weet wat ik moet kiezen?
Dat is normaal. Deel een foto van jezelf, vertel ons waar en hoe je de hoed zult dragen, en wat je fijn (of juist vervelend) vindt aan hoeden die je eerder hebt geprobeerd. Van daaruit kunnen we je begeleiden naar een vorm en stijl die echt bij jou past.
