I've had 2 other real hats, this one is so far better than them that I can't even bring myself to believe that I'd wear the other two everywhere. Those 2 hats lasted about 15 years, I can't say how long this one will last, however, it is undoubtedly of a higher quality than they were, one was a stetson wool felt and the other from somewhere in laramie. The comfort of this hat is immeasurable. Aside from that, at a price that I can actually afford, I have a hat made to my specifications, and to my exact size, which I'm amazed that I got right. 3. Set your iron to high heat, and run it across.
4. Repeat until the brim is entirely flat.
5. Allow it to dry and stiffen well.
