Our Story
How It Started
My journey began watching my grandfather, a distinguished train station master, wearing his impeccable dress hats. Every morning, he'd adjust his hat with precision, transforming from my beloved grandfather into a figure of authority and respect. That daily ritual taught me that a well-crafted hat could do more than complete an outfit – it could transform the wearer.
After years in finance, I felt something was missing. In 2014, I realized my true calling lay in the art of hat-making. With Agnes, my life partner, supporting this leap of faith, I left my stable career. While others saw risk, we saw an opportunity to revive the dying art of traditional hat crafting.
Agnes's encouragement and belief in the vision helped make it possible. I invested everything into our Athens workshop, learning from master craftsmen, collecting vintage blocks, and perfecting techniques that most had forgotten.
From Workshop to Global Reach
2014-2016: Learning Years
Started with basic equipment and determination. Made mistakes, learned from each one. First year: 47 hats. Each customer taught us what the market really needed – not luxury, but solutions.
2017-2019: Building Capabilities
Collected over 25 wooden hat styles (each available in 11 head sizes). Expanded from 85 square meters to our current 250-square-meter workshop. Increased capacity to 250 hats monthly while maintaining quality standards.
2020-2022: Finding Our True Purpose
Introduced half sizes and later 2 options between traditional hat sizes – giving customers precise fit options nobody else offered. We were serving people who couldn't find what they needed elsewhere. Switched to transparent pricing – all costs included. No more shipping surprises.
2023-Today: What We've Built

The Workshop
Our Athens workshop has over 25 wooden hat styles – more than most custom hatmakers. Each style is available in 11 head sizes. We use iconic styles like #52 and #51, plus custom blocks we create using 3D technology (added late 2024) when customers need specific shapes we don't have.
Everything is shaped and finished by hand:

Each hat takes 14-21 days. We don't rush.
