Where are your products made?

Our studio is located in the port city of Piraeus, Greece, next to Nikea's City Hall. This is where we create everything. 

HNC-HATWORKS is on a mission to make the world a more sustainable place, one hat at a time. We are constantly searching for new, more sustainable materials and processes to develop products that have a lower impact on the environment. But we never compromise on quality or craftsmanship. Our hats are made with the utmost care and attention to detail, so you can feel good about wearing them, knowing that you’re supporting sustainable practices.

What are my customization options?

You are welcome to set your crown and brim measurements, select among endless shape and style combinations in a plethora of materials and finishes to create your unique, made-to-measure hat.

What are my personalization options?

We offer personalization options to give your hat a unique personalized finish. 


Monogramming is available for all our hats finished with a leather sweatband inside. This service allows you to stamp up to eight block letters in gold foil.

Custom Liners

This service allows you to add a unique touch to your hat by creating a custom message printed inside your hat.

How do I know my size?

Size guides with general sizing information are available on each product page to assist you in determining your best fit.

What if an item is unavailable?

If an item or size you have selected is not currently available for purchase, we will immediately contact you proposing a couple of alternative options.

Does Agnoulita go on sale?

Agnoulita does not have sales, including black Friday sales and private sales. If you see any of our hats, not from an official HNC-HatWorks reseller, being offered at discounted, sale or clearance prices, then chances are the item is counterfeit.

Can I get my purchase gift-wrapped?

Each hat will be delivered with our signature packaging including a Agnoulita hat box and an organic cotton protective bag, based on availability. You also have the option of including a personalized gift message during checkout and to excluding the price from the order invoice. 

Shipping questions

How long will it take if I order a hat from you today?

We usually require a 3-5 weeks to prepare your hat.

As soon as we send your order, you will immediately receive a shipping notification email with your shipment's reference/tracking number as well free SMS updates throughout the delivery process.

Estimated delivery times:

  • North America: 3-5 business days
  • Europe: 1-5 business days
  • Australia, New Zealand, and Oceania: 3-7 business days
  • Asia Pacific: 3-7 business days
  • Latin America and the Caribbean: 5-20 business days
  • North Africa and the Middle East: 4-14 business days
  • Sub-Saharan Africa: 14-20 business days

On occasions, the processing of your order and subsequent delivery might be subject to factors beyond our control, such as felt availability, natural disasters, or a pandemic. In those cases, delivery might take a bit longer.

HNC-HATWORKS cannot be held responsible for any unanticipated delivery delays beyond our control. Buyers are responsible for any customs and import taxes that may apply. 

How can I track my order status?

Once your item(s) have shipped you will receive a confirmation email where you will find a link to track your order. In order to check the status of your shipment just click on the link.

You will receive an email confirmation once your order has been delivered.

Is a signature required upon delivery of my order?

For security reasons, an adult signature is required upon delivery. If you will be unavailable to sign for your package, contact us and we will arrange to have your order held at a nearby DHL location for pickup.

DHL will make a total of three delivery attempts on three consecutive business days. After the third attempt, your order will be returned to our studio. 

Are there any delivery restrictions?

The following delivery restrictions apply:

  • Purchases may not be shipped to P.O. boxes, APO/FPO addresses, hotels, or freight forwarders.
  • Items can only be shipped to one address per order. To ship to multiple addresses, please place a separate order for each location. 

Returns questions

What is your return policy?

We allow returns, exchanges or store credit up to 30 calendar days after delivery, provided you call +30 (211) 001 - 1910 or email for a return authorization before shipping the hat back. You are responsible for the cost of shipping your hat and returning it in as-new, unworn condition.

Custom orders and hats that have been monogrammed or otherwise personalized are non-refundable. Hats that are returned in less than the condition they left our studio are eligible for exchange or store credit only; however, a deduction may be made if the returned hat requires cleaning or repair.

Returned hats must meet the below requirements in order to be accepted for a refund:

  • All items must be in original condition with original tags attached. Items that have been worn, used, altered or damaged will not be accepted.
  • Personalized hats are final sale and cannot be returned.
  •  All items must match those identified in return request.

Can I exchange or return an item gifted to me by someone else?

Gift items may be returned in accordance with our Return Policy. However, refunds may only be issued to the same account used for the original payment.

Gift recipients will have the option of choosing a different size or color variation of the item gifted or a new item with the same value, if available on our website. 

Once the gift recipient has confirmed the selection, the order will be finalized and no exchanges can be made. Please refer to our Return Policy for more information and return instructions.

Product Care

How do I care for my hat?

Each hat will ship with an insert that details suggested care information. Agnoulita hats are made with carefully selected materials and should be handled with care for longer product life.

When outdoors:

  • Never handle your hat by the pinch or the crown to prevent breakage, and keep your hat clean of oil and dirt.
  • Avoid leaving your hat in a hot car or any place where the very high temperature will potentially be an issue.
  • Avoid wearing your hat out in the pouring rain. If your hat ever gets wet, do not force dry it.

When indoors:

  • Store your hat in the hatbox we provide to better protect it for long periods.
  • When it is not on your head, always place your brimmed fedora hat upside down.
  • Do not leave your hat exposed to heat and humidity to avoid shrinkage and distortion of shape and color.
  • Brush-off lint or dirt regularly with a soft bristle brush. Then using a clean, damp cloth, rub gently counter-clockwise towards the back.
  • Always brush the underside of the brim clockwise.

Do you offer a warranty on your products?

We do offer a money-back guaranttee for items that do not meet your expectations.

Please keep in mind that each hat we produce is custom-made by hand. We will make every effort to create your hat precisely as you imagined it and to standards and proportions appreciated by our clients over the years. If your hat is different from what you requested, please notify us within 24 hours of receiving it, and we will correct our error at no charge.

Sizes, brims, and crowns should be within the requested measurement's one-eighth inch, plus or minus.

Got caught outside without an umbrella?

Light rain or a snow will never damage your Agnoulita hat.

Still, If you get caught without an umbrella, once you get indoors always snap your brim up. Hang your hat so that the crown or the sides of your hat's brim are not touching anything, and let it dry naturally away from heat. 

Exposing your hat to heat will reactivate the felting process and may cause shrinkage and deformation.

Fixing a bent brim

1. Rest your hat on a flat surface.
2. Place a slightly moisturized cloth on your hat's brim.
3. Set your iron to high heat, and run it across.
4. Repeat until the brim is entirely flat.
5. Allow it to dry and stiffen well.

You may occasionally use this process to freshen up your hat. Make sure you always use a piece of cloth between the felt and your steam iron plate.
